About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our growing team and play a critical role in providing top-notch technical support to our employees. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for onboarding and offboarding processes, help desk support, managing MDM solutions, manual system testing and troubleshooting technical issues with MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other applications. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in IT support and learn from a top-class technology and operations team that is growing quickly. The role will offer the scope of personal development and pick up broader responsibilities as the team and company grows. Ledgebrook is new on the Polish market, and as one of the early members of the Polish operation, the role will play an integral part in its success.

What you’ll do

Onboarding/Offboarding:

  • Set up hardware and software for new employees, including laptops, phones, and necessary applications.
  • Reverse the process for departing employees, ensuring all equipment is returned and accounts are properly deactivated.

Help Desk Support:

  • Provide internal help desk support for employees, assisting with technical issues and routing questions to appropriate external partners, including Federato.
  • Manage and respond to IT support tickets in a timely and efficient manner.

MDM Management:

  • Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to ensure the security and compliance of all mobile devices used within the company.

Technical Troubleshooting:

  •  Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other software applications used by the company.
  • Provide guidance and support for common IT issues, ensuring minimal disruption to employees’ workflows.

Business Testing:

  • Understand the business process to conduct testing of system upgrades and releases

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand IT needs and implement solutions that enhance productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with employees to ensure they are informed about IT policies and best practices.

About You

Here at Ledgebrook, we are passionate about creating a team that is on a continuous learning journey and that shares our excitement about building a company from the ground up. Some of the characteristics we hold dear are:

  • A passion to deliver a world-class customer service experience to both internal and external customers.
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to innovate processes/procedures versus being satisfied with the status quo.
  • A desire to continue learning through on-the-job mentorship or formal educational/training opportunities.
  • Agile prioritization skills coupled with a keen sense of urgency that seeks to balance getting it right versus getting it done right now.
  • A strong drive and desire to win together as a high-performing team.
  • A moral compass to “do the right thing, period”, with zero tolerance for toxic behaviors.

Must haves

  • Proven experience in providing IT support in a professional environment.
  • Strong proficiency in onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware and software setup.
  • Experience with help desk support and ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of MDM solutions and best practices.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills for MS Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice to haves

  • Prior startup experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
  • Experience with additional software and applications used in a business environment.
